ToxML is a system and application independent toxicity database standards and controlled vocabulary developed for toxicology information. This standardized vocabulary enables the integration of multiple diverse toxicity databases. For example, a company's proprietary toxicity data can be integrated with the FDA toxicity databases, to create a valuable knowledge base of toxicology information.
